Terms of Service
Effective Date: April 14, 2026
1. Service Description
AdvocateIQ provides two services: (1) AI-assisted review of IEP (Individualized Education Program) and 504 Plan documents, and (2) AdvocateIQ Match, which connects parents with independent special education advocates for paid consultations. The reports and analysis generated by AdvocateIQ are intended as educational tools only and do not constitute legal advice.
AdvocateIQ is a service provided by DFW Advocacy, founded by the founder of DFW Advocacy.
2. Advocate Matching Service
AdvocateIQ Match connects parents with independent special education advocates. By submitting a match request, you authorize AdvocateIQ to share your match request details with advocates you select and book. If you choose to share your analysis report, that report is also provided to your booked advocate.
- Advocates on the AdvocateIQ network are independent professionals, not employees of DFW Advocacy or AdvocateIQ.
- AdvocateIQ does not provide, supervise, or guarantee the quality of advocacy services delivered by advocates in the network.
- Consultation fees are set by each advocate (minimum $50). A $25 platform referral fee is deducted from the advocate's fee. Payments are processed by Stripe.
- Refund requests for consultations must be submitted within 24 hours of booking and before the consultation takes place. After the consultation occurs, fees are non-refundable.
- AdvocateIQ reserves the right to remove advocates from the network at any time.
3. User Responsibilities
- You must be a parent, guardian, or authorized representative of the student whose documents you upload.
- You are responsible for the accuracy and authorization of all documents you upload to AdvocateIQ.
- Do not upload documents for children over whom you do not have legal authority.
4. Disclaimers
Not Legal Advice. AdvocateIQ reports are educational information, not legal advice. For legal guidance regarding your child's education rights, please consult a qualified special education attorney.
